I would love you
With a passion growing more and more each day
When I tell you I care for you,
I would care for you
With a promise that I would remember everyday
When I tell you I would not leave you,
I would not leave you
With a conviction you would not be able to resist
And when the time comes that I would have to leave you
It doesn't mean that I do not love you
Nor does it mean that I do not care for you
But, because I know that it is inevitable
And I also know that you were the only one
The only owner of my soul, my mind and my heart

I said to myself, as tears rolled down my face.
Wondering how I could live my life from here on out
Without feeling like a disgrace.
If one loved me and left me
Because of this terrible curse
Then how could I trust another
And have the same thing happen to me, if not worse?
Someone I can love everything about
And when we sit near don't have to say a thing
Yet know exactly what each other is thinking
And what the other is feeling.
Being two totally different individuals
And when we are together, becoming one
Someone I can feel at ease with and comfortable
And not be looked down upon.

the truth is

are difficult to capture and collect
because you, again,
cause me to daydream, to wonder...
...to hope for.
what yearning I have-
for us to find a time and place
so we can talk and share...
so I can bask in your friendship
and peek at your loveliness.
